Visualizing Central Park From A Hawk’s Perspective: In The Past, Present, And Future

This project looks at the development of New York’s Central Park – past, present, and future – and examines the relationship between the park and its surrounding urban setting. The goal of the project is for users to think about the correlation between the man-made park and urbanization, and to rethink the role of humans in the world. I have created a virtual reality experience that allows the user to be a Red Hawk in Central Park, and that lets the user think about what and how natural creatures experience and see differently from us.
